The Constituency Wants Hondo Back!

Frank Howard was the hero of every Senators fan, and he's recently ended his long-time association with the New York Yankees, where he worked as a scout.

Nationals Journal readers (led by Dave Sheinin, in his post on Nationals Journal) have made a resounding call for the Nats to offer Hondo a job.

We couldn't agree more!

I feel that the Washington Nationals should hire Frank Howard, to fill any appropriate position within the Nationals organization. Frank Howard was the face of the Senators, and for many years, the face of baseball in Washington. This is a golden opportunity to include one of Washington's baseball heroes into the Nationals family!
